I Have nearly 10 years experience working with individuals, couples, and families. I enjoy working collaboratively with my clients in finding new ways to deal with and alleviate distress. My goal is to provide a safe, non-judgemental space to work through the presenting issue.

My training as a couples therapist has brought me to specialize in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) as my main treatment approach when meeting with couples. This approach is deeply rooted in attachment based theories and fosters new ways of communication between partners.

When working with children, adolescents, and families, I adopt using a creative and playful approach in finding solutions and helping you express challenges. I value creativity, self-expression, and the power within to create change.

I have graduated with a Masters degree in Creative Arts Therapy from Concordia University and another Masters degree from McGill University in Couple and Family Therapy. After working in private practice and university settings in Montreal, I have recently worked in Luxembourg before coming back to Montréal in the Fall of 2022. I am currently working as a full time LTA faculty at Concordia University in the department of Art Therapy for the academic year 2022-2023.

I currently offer online and in-person therapy sessions.

SEVICES
Couples Therapy

Couples decide to come consult for many different reasons. Some wish to resolve problems they are experiencing, others simply want to build stronger communication patterns, while others are contemplating dissolution of the couple. Together we will work on understanding the presented problem and enabling you with the right tools to address the presenting issues.

FamilyTherapy

Sometimes the problem is not in one individual but rather within the interactions between family member. In family therapy we work on communication and we look at the role each family member holds in maintaining the issue. Together we find different ways of interacting in order to create some change and better family dynamics.

Individual Therapy

You may chose to come to individual therapy to better understand yourself. Coming to therapy doesn't mean there is something wrong with you, rather you are seeking to find solutions and create change.

Art Therapy

Art therapy is a form of psychotherapy that uses art as a means of expression. Sometimes using our words is simply not enough to express how we feel. It may also be used as a form of self-exploration. Art therapy is suited for all individuals.

Art therapy is NOT an art class. You do not need any previous art experience to do art therapy.
